Easy yet advanced, quad-mode packet analyzer, Mode 1 (Packet Interceptor) While in this mode, PIAFCTM captures and analyzes network data packets. PIAFCTM allows you to view special information encoded in each packet such as the source and destination IP addresses, the source and destination ports, and many other pieces of information. When capturing using the NetworkActiv PIAFCTM Packet Driver, data is captured at the ethernet level allowing you to see the MAC (Media Access Control) addresses of each computer from which you have received packets. Many packets can be captured in a short period of time, and so you may not wish to view them all. With PIAFCTM, you can filter the capturing of packets by IP address, port, packet size, protocol, and/or text-sub-string searching of each packet\'s content. Also, you can search for a text-sub-string within the current list of packets, save the list of packets to a text file, view the data payload content of each packet (in Hex, Decimal, Text, or standard Hex+Text style), and more. Mode 2 (HTTP File Interceptor) With this mode, you can capture images, web-pages, web-page initiated HTTP downloads, and more. This is done by the automated capturing and analyzing of HTTP (Hyper-Text Transfer Protocol) specific packets. You can filter the saving of files by IP address, port, file extension, and/or file size. Mode 3 (Graphical Packets Mode) Provides a graphical, effects like representation of network traffic. Can be configured in real-time. Mode 4 (Statistical Mode) Statistical Mode monitors and analyzes the network traffic and forms statistical information pertaining to each IP address, each IP address pair, and each local port. I. DEFINITIONS OF TERMS:





Definition of \"END USER\" is as follows: Any and all parties which use this software; This includes but is not limited to the following: Any and all parties which own, run, or use the system with which this software is run on or is installed on.





Definition of \"AUTHOR\" is as follows: Any and all parties which produce and/or contribute to the production of this software; This includes but is not limited to NetworkActiv.





Definition of \"DISTRIBUTOR\" is as follows: Any and all parties which are in any way involved with the distribution of this software in part or in whole to the \"END USER\"; This includes but is not limited to any and all websites (including any and all parties that run or contribute to such websites in any way) through which this software can be obtained from in part or in whole, and NetworkActiv.





II. END USER RIGHTS AND DUTIES:





END USER holds AUTHOR and DISTRIBUTOR 100% unaccountable for any and all damage(s), loss(es) of data, loss(es) of business, and loss(es) of funds that arise(s) out of or from the use of this software; Possible causes of such loss(es) and damage(s) include(s) but is/are not limited to: Bugs in this software, usability of this software, fitness of this software, and reliability of this software.





AUTHOR and DISTRIBUTOR are in NO way responsible for anything negative that arises out of the use and/or misuse of this software by END USER, including any violation by END USER of local, state, and/or federal laws and regulations, including but not limited to those pertaining to any and all types of Network Data Capturing, Network Scanning, Network Privacy, and Hacking which pertain to the location at which END USER resides.





UPON ACCEPTING THIS AGREEMENT: END USER PERMITS THE STORAGE AND USAGE OF THIS SOFTWARE ON THE COMPUTER SYSTEMS DESIGNATED AS PART OF THE LICENSING AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION IV OF THIS LEGAL AGREEMENT. END USER UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES TO ALL PARTS OF THIS AGREEMENT. END USER UNDERSTANDS AND ACCEPTS FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY AND ALL POSSIBLE RISKS OF USING THIS SOFTWARE.





END USER ACCEPTS, UNDERSTANDS, AND ACCEPTS TO FOLLOW THE LICENSING AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION IV OF THIS LEGAL AGREEMENT.





III. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER:





This software is provided on an \"As Is\" basis and therefore holds NO warranty whatsoever: The fitness, performance, reliability, and usability of this software is in NO way guaranteed by AUTHOR or DISTRIBUTOR. AUTHOR and DISTRIBUTOR are therefore in NO way accountable for any need or requirement of END USER that has not been met in part or in whole. This software is in NO way considered to be bug free and therefore may contain bugs which can cause severe damage(s), loss(es), etc.





IV. LICENSING:





This software is licensed solely on a hybrid, site license, with an additional but limited single machine portable license. This hybrid license permits for the software to be used on all the machines that are at one (1) physical location (that is, not going beyond the boundaries of one, legal address), and ONE (1) portable (not locationally fixed) machine that is owned and/or operated by the party purchasing the software. The machines that are considered to be at the designated site may be portable machines (such as laptops), but the software must NOT be used on any of those machines when those machines are not at the designated site. The software may be used on the one designated portable machine while it is at or off the designated site. In the case that there is no designated site, the site portion of the license is transformed into one other portable, single-machine license, granting two (2) portable, single-machine licenses but NO site license; These two machines must be owned and operated by the purchasing party.





The site may be changed at any time and the designated portable machine may as well be changed at any time, so long as in neither case is the software used at more than one site or on multiple designated portable machines at a given moment. At the termination of usage by the original party, this software is considered to have been consumed and so may NOT be transferred to another party.





V. COPYRIGHT NOTICE:





END USER IS NOT PERMITTED TO RE-DISTRIBUTE THE PURCHASED VERSION OF THIS SOFTWARE IN ANY WAY, NOT IN PART NOR IN WHOLE.





END USER IS NOT PERMITTED TO MAKE ANY WORKS DERIVED FROM IN PART OR IN WHOLE, THE BINARY CODE OF ANY PORTION OF THIS SOFTWARE THAT WAS DEVELOPED BY NETWORKACTIV.





END USER IS ONLY PERMITTED TO USE THIS SOFTWARE IN A 100% UNALTERED STATE.





VI. AGREEMENT INFORMATION:





Jurisdiction and Domicile: This agreement shall be governed by laws pertaining to the State of California and the United States of America. Any and all unresolvable disputes between END USER and AUTHOR shall be handled in the United States of America by a California court with a California judge.





Validity of this Agreement: If any part of this agreement is proven to be unlawful or unenforceable by law, the remaining part(s) of this agreement shall remain in full effect.





Entire Agreement: This legal agreement is the one (1) and only agreement.
