Knowledge and Judgment Scoring trains students to learn and report what they know using higher levels of thinking. Score quantity and quality. A mark tally analysis presents the student view of the test; an item analysis, the teacher/test maker view. A score and question difficulty matrix provides detailed information for student counseling. A Test Performance Profile provides detailed item analyses for question and instruction revision.

Students acquire the sense of responsibility needed to learn at higher levels of thinking. Their quality score tells them and the teacher what they can trust as a basis for further learning and instruction.

Power Up Plus, turns passive pupils into active self-correcting students. The results provide all the information needed to guide students as they acquire the sense of responsibility needed to learn and report at higher levels of thinking.

Individual students and/or teachers can elect either traditional right-mark scoring or Knowledge and Judgment Scoring. This makes for a low stress transition between scoring methods. A suggested value for omit (good judgment to not mark a wrong answer) is calculated for each test.

License: Power Up Plus can only be licensed from Nine-Patch Multiple-Choice, Inc., www.nine-patch.com and approved distributors. A site license, for the number in the group, is required. A user is each teacher using the scoring and analysis results whether processed by themselves or a central processing service. All software is the result of classroom experience, research and consulting. It is currently supported on Windows with Excel installed. It is distributed on an “as is” basis. As no warranty that it will run correctly on other computers can be made, please run Power Up Plus with one of the supplied answer sheet files (.ANS) to verify results.
